Replying to LO9710 --

Barry,

You start where you are, at the simplest level or the most sophisticated,
you "flip the switch" for another human being in a way thay only you know
or feel. You explain as best you can that the moon is not made of green
cheese, the earth is not flat, riches will not make you happy, it is
better to be yourself than to imitate someone else, whatever...

Teachers are human just like the rest of us. They need human relationships
with which to identify. If they don't have them in their own past, they
just might get a boost from being on a list like this. You just do what
you can. I appreciate your insights.
