I've read this thread with significant interest, as "blaming management" is a common
work activity everywhere I've been. . .

A book I found to be particularly helpful in solving this problem is "Seeing Systems,
Unlocking the Mysteries of Organizational Life," by Barry Oshry.

I picked up my copy at Barnes & Noble for around $20.

Oshry focuses on the Tops, Middles, and Bottoms, and provides excellent insight into
why each of these groups feel the way they do about each other. Once you begin to
see how the system impacts the relationships, you can change your approach to be
more congruent with reality.
