That's not a model that I know how to use all the time, or even most of the
time. Of course, I have my generalizations, just like everyone else (see? I'm
doing it again! <g>). I too have lots of different categories that I put people
in to help me deal with the complexity of personalities. But I remember my "5.5
billion personality types" model now and then when one of my other mental models
has gotten me stuck. And once in a blue moon I remember it in time to keep me
from getting in trouble in the first place.

I agree. Not only is this crucial, it's also very hard.
