It seems to me that the challenge of all learning is integration with
what is. Is that what is meant by "unlearning"?

I suspect that we apply the term when we are referring to attachments
or blockages that inhibit integration.

If so, then rather than refer to it as unlearning, we might just use
these instances as signals of where to focus our attention to see
where integration isn't occurring. This might provide whole new
areas of innovation - rather than something so trivial as unlearning.
