I keep finding myself in agreement with Rol's opinions re: education. I
have spent a great deal of time in college and university classrooms as a
student and some time as an adjunct instructor. My own experience and
observations tell me that even if it takes IQ and SAT scores to get one into
college, that will not keep them there, nor necesarily get them out. It
takes other factors, e.g., personal responsibility, initiative, etc. to make
one successful. Many of these same factores are the ones that determine
throughout life who will be successful and who will not be irrespective of
SAT and IQ which at the end of most lives is not someting too many people
refect back upon.
