I like Reed's hypothesis about N's and S's (Myers-Briggs style). And just
to prove how rich the human race is, I'm an out-and-out "I_N_FP" yet I LOVE
to hear about real-life examples, practical applications, what worked for
other people (my alter ego must be an S!!). Theory is great which is, I
guess, why I read so much, but I also learn heaps from what other people
have tried and how it succeeded or failed. I always consider the
practicalities and suitability of using other people's ideas in my own
environment, and I believe it's possible to synthesize and extrapolate from
others' experience, not only from theory and abstraction...
So I empathise with Jyotsna - but I still enjoy the abstract debates too!
Balance is good.
