Keith asks for reactions to his comments abbreviated below. Presenting
more than one possible change secenario-with pros and cons- provides
people with choices. The focus is on how we will change (facilitate
change) rather than whether or not we will change. Energies are targeted
to what has to be accomplished. The one right idea or magic pill as Keith
mentions tends to set people on edge. They want to believe, but somehow
know that there is no one right absolute solution.

I'm not sure what is meant by "traditional tactics" but the term sounds
synonymous to the "cattle prod approach." It gets a quick start,
sustaining a difference.
