Replying to LO8251 --

I am curious where the author finds the measuerement of or support for
this statement: that "people universally seek belonging to some community
and assume some responsibility to support that community." This action
indicates that there is a universal value in community.

I often find gems of wisdom on this list; equally, I find words that are
unsupported by research or other means that would convince me of the truth
of posts. I always know the posts are the truth as one person believes
the world to be; I rarely find posts that are convincing otherwise.

Regards,

Susan Heathfield
