"Matzdorf, Fides" <F.Matzdorf@shu.ac.uk> poses
the following question:

>..Since then I have begun to think even more carefully about
>the method of a learning event reflecting its end...
>Does this make sense?

This reminds me of an opportunity I had ten years ago to ask the question
of the presenter in a participative management course after a long day of
lectures:

"How can your suggested approach have any credibility if you are not
practicing it?"

The presenter, being a smart man who I respected, said that it could not
(which was the only "right" answer!) but most of the class just thought I
was a disturber who was tryinng to "get" the presenter. The presenter was
thinking when forced to, but the environment did not encourage anyone to
think.

It is ironic how valuable those little IBM Think signs were. They served
as a reminder to anyone who got them. They are out of fashion now. Too
bad!
