What is the connection between "informal networks" and "implicit
knowledge"? It seems to me that much can be learned from information
networks bout organising, but, as Ivan points out, making them formal
will mean that they are no longer informal.

That is similar to the "problem" of making implicit knowledge
explicit. You find that it is different than the implicit and that
the implicit is still the largest part of the knowledge.

There is always a vast amount that is unknowable behind, around,
with, the tiny percentage that is knowable at any one time. We need
to recognise this phenomenon if we are to mine the gold that is
available in the insight.
