Replying to LO7705 --

You asked about the three universities that might be considering the
Wandwaver Solution for renovation of university education which I am
proposing.

The three universities are, in relative order of present interest:

The Ohio State University
George Washington University
George Mason University

When I said "primitive stages", I mean exactly that.

Ohio State got interested through a friend, and is considering
reorganizing its School of Education. As part of this, they have started
a relevant list server called the imlist (im stands for Interactive
Management), and they are looking at my 6-volume set (unpublished) on
education.

George Washington is showing some interest because virtually every program
in higher ed that starts with an interdisciplinary, or systems, or
cybernetics orientation ultimately gets dropped. The latest casualty, a
fine department, is the Systems Science Department at City University,
London, whose faculty are being dealt back to more traditional
departments.

Since GWU is considering a new higher-level activity, they seem to be
attracted to my plan because it recognizes the need for an infrastructure
that is different from the one which supports conventional higher
education. Many of the dropped programs fail because they try to fit
their round programs into square infrastructures. Of course there are
other reasons.

George Mason's interest is in primitive state, triggered by an incoming
new president. It remains to be seen if this interest will go anywhere.
