With Jeff Stamps, I am writing a book called VIRTUAL TEAMS, due out from
John Wiley & Sons in Spring 1997. Please send me e-mail if you know of
such a thing.
Current working definition:
A virtual team is a group of people with common purpose
communicating across boundaries on interdependent tasks.
We welcome comments on the definition and examples.
Many thanks...Jessica
[Host's Note: Virtual teams can be learning organizations, and I believe
that organizational learning can benefit from effective electronic
support. Discussion about these topics is quite welcome here on the
Learning Org list. ...Rick]
