My company is organizing a study trip to North America in August on behalf
of a group of management consultants from the Swedish Municipal Workers
Union ("SMWU").
The Consulting team is actively working with organizational development
for its 800,000 members in over 250 Swedish municipalities. The key method
applied is that of organizational learning and what is referred to as
Learning Organizations. SMWU's approach is based on the work of Peter M
Senge of MIT as described in his book the Fifth Discipline. The Consulting
branch is also doing its own research.
We are trying to find companies& communities which are actively working as
Learning Organizations for possible visits for the group(10 people). The
trip is scheduled for the second week in august. Thank you in advance
