Replying to LO6829 --

I previously mentioned the possibility of using this discussion group as a
catalyst for a conversation that would include more than the 1800 of us
subscribers. That is, doing more to raise awareness of the issues of
corporate transformation and what it could mean to the average person.

In a message dated 96-04-21 11:43:23 EDT, If writes:

Here is what I am willing to do. I am willing to offer a rough draft of a
letter that could be sent to editorial pages, raising the awareness of our
belief that economic improvement is less a result of political elections
than corporate transformation. It might highlight some core, fundamental
beliefs that could awaken a sense of possibility in our communities.

Should folks be interested, we could (?) be the first newsgroup to send a
letter to the editor(s). At least in the states, given it is an election
year, conversations are more prone to issues of job security, economic
performance, and the like. We may have a listening for a call for
transformation.

Could this be too unwieldy? Perhaps. But it would be a grand experiment,
wouldn't it?

If there's any interest, why don't we compose a letter? Should that work,
we can evaluate what to do next.
