I am involved in a painful process at this very moment! I am deleting
message after message in an effort to bring myself back to April 20. But
could not let this one go without trying to add some of my own notions
about fighting injustice.
I think that it cost most because one has to spend much more energy to
fight injustice, than to go with the flow of "how things are done around
here." The first thing I would do is to look at the source of the
injustice. Most of the time this injustice is generated by people in
powerful positions. Power that could be political or economic, or both.
THese people have generally established control over many different
institutions, where large masses of people are working, living, etc. So
the resistance the established order puts on those trying to fight
injustice is too much!
The resistance to combat the establishment is compounded by the fact that
the establishment "has been well proven," and the injustice fighters ideas
have not.
MOst of those who decide to fight injustice have to make very serious
efforts (energy, money, personal sacrifices, etc.), to buil the initial
credibility necessary to heard by others!
