To add to Julie's throughts about messages too long and dense, a reader is
more likely to scan a posting if the paragraphs are well constructed. As
a writer, that's not an easy thing to contemplate for most of us.
How many people employ a paragraph's last sentence to bridge into the
next, either explicitly or implicitly? Whether you are accomplished in
some regard at the art and craft of writing, or simply a self-proclaimed
"utilitarian" who wants to convey the most with the least, structure
enhances the message.
