It may be that leadership does not "define reality" but provides the
structures of interpretation which defines a community - and leaves
great freedom for specific interpretation.

More, a great leader may be providing structures from their own
wisdom (which was socially gained) to a community in ways that are a
match for that community, for what is already there, but which the
community without the leader is not very adept at expressing.

This is the kind of leadership that I like. I wish there was more.
I'm happy to have such leadership and aspire to something similar for
myself.
