Apologies to creativity consortium but degrees have expiry dates. My PhD
in geosciences from 1975 will not now buy me a cup of coffee in any bar in
the world. Market forces, whilst not the answer to everything IMHO do a
pretty good jo on this one. Abolish even more tenure and you head in that
direction anyway or is the suggestion a cunning ploy by colleges etc to
guarantee repeat business. Now business schools and other academic
departments with expiry dates seems a more worthwhile enquiry!!!
