Thead Titles here LO5207

I have noticed that many threads actually split into several conversations
either following a refinement of the original Thread or spinning off to
some some subject in a posting which is really about a different subject.
In addition, some threads transform their nature into a different subject.

Personally, I find it challenging to balance the amount of time I have to
digest LO postings, in order to attempt a useful reply, and have resorted
to following only certain threads... I imagine that some others do the
same?

My wish is that people posting be more accurate in their subject titles as
to the main direction of its contents, rather than sticking loyally to the
thread title from which their branching topic split. This would help
strugglers like me a lot in keeping up with this exciting list and would
not challenge any integrity issues of which I am aware.

Host's Note: Thanks, Doug, for raising this. I'm concerned about the
increased volume of messages in the past few weeks; the number of mesages
must be creating issues for some subscribers. On my end, it will help
greatly if msg authors are careful about your subject lines.

And, thanks again to all for your contributions.

Does anyone else think that this should be encouraged?
