One idea that seems important to me is exemplified in FORTH, the
computer language designed by Charles Moore. Extensibility is so
fundamental to the language that freedom to add on is limited
basically only by the user's knowledge of programming and the limits
of the environment where the application is used.

To me, extensibility means "ease of making additions" to the
capability of the system.

In terms of work, prepared willingness to receive new information, new
application of effort, new direction, and allowing cheerful attitudes
to rise seems important for the development of new capabilities.

Managing complexity may partly be the use of a combination of
dedication of workers, extensibility of learning in action, and
trusting the early learners. This may sound impressive; however, I've
never seen this done in a group effort.
