An interesting and provocative -- in many ways -- take on virtual teams
can be found in a paper I recently came across, published in the 1995
"Annual Review of the Institute for Information Studies." The author of
the paper is Eric Vogt, President of MicroMentor, Inc., and Chair of
INTERCLASS (International Corporate Learning Association); the title is
"The Nature of Work in 2010: Convergence and the Workplace." Eric begins
with a scenario that he labels "the itinerant knowledge worker," and it's
pretty stunning.

Host's Note: Ron, could you summarize a few highlights? That report might
be a little difficult for many people to find.
