Re LO4709 - Favourite Journals

I'm in an interesting position on this one as I edit a couple of "learned"
journals for a business publisher called MCB University Press, which are:

-The Learning Organization, which is published 5 times a year, 40pp,
practitioner orientation but fully peer reviewed, business and university
subscriber base

-The TQM Magazine, published 6 times a year, 72pp, practitioner oriented,
part-reviewed (academic-derived papers are refereed). This incorporates,
for US readers, a journal you might know called TQR, the Total Quality
Review, mostly business subscribers split about 50/50 Europe and North
America

-Management Decision, published 9 times a year, 72pp, a stodgier version
of HBR, fully reviewed, eclectic general management journal, mostly
university library subs, largely North America.

So I'm kind of biased in recommending them as my favourites. However, I
can say, anyone interested in exploring some of the many fascinating
thoughts which are covered in the conference as a submission to a
hard-copy journal - please regard this as an invitation to do so,
particularly for the former (The Learning Organization).

I suppose what I'm saying is - everyone who is a participant on this
conference is interested in exploring and exposing ideas and
intellectually able to do so in a coherent fashion. So if you wish to go
beyond passively reading your favourite authors in your favourite
journals, and actively engage in creating and shaping a journal - let me
know.

I would suggest you do so to me directly, unless you have a point to share
with the whole conference. I am happy to keep the conference in touch with
the discussions I am having on a summary basis.

If I have enough of the right kind of contribution I will be happy to
consider, with my host's permission of course, the dedication of an issue
to LO Conference participants....
