One of Russell Ackoff's books discusses and gives a graphical view of a
multi-dimensional "look" at the design of business functional and process
activity. The title escapes me right now.

I recently read some of John Warfields books, "Societal Systems" and a
recently published book whose title also escapes me right now that deals
with the topic of goals in the multi-dimensional sense.

I'm still unclear on the general definition of "multi-dimensional." Even
if we agree that it is multiple dimensions represented at 90 degrees to
one another that leaves infinite possibilities to what each dimension is
_composed_ of.
