In a real electronic reservoir, I see three levels of stuff:
1) Data/Information -- objective, statistical data.
2) Emerging learning -- the conversations that are essential support for the
learning process
3) Codified Knowledge -- conclusions, policies, good/best practices.
So far on the learning-org list we've done (I think) a pretty good job of
supporting #2. And, I'll leave #1 for other facilities.
That brings me to my wish: That we figure out some way, collectively, to
do something in area #3, Codified Knowledge. That is, that for some of
our wonderful conversations, some subset of us work out a summary or
conclusions, a cogent report of the sense of the group, about a topic.
These would be identified specially for what they are, could be published
elsewhere as well as here, etc.
