Performance Management LO4696

I've been "on the net" for a month or so, and barely able to keep up with
all of the contributions on the learning organization, though eager to
continue trying.

There have been several themes or strands lately which seem to be engaging
various participants. One strand, which I'll label performance management
(PM), has caught my attention, and prompted me to send out a query.

In March, I'll be conducting a three-day workshop on performance
management, and I'd like to hear suggestions on how to run the workshop
creatively. I probably have lots of content knowledge regarding behavior
change, motivation, and learning, and some knowledge of performance
appraisal and the like. But I have neither a standard reference nor
methodology for covering the material and, especially, for presenting it
in a memorable and practical way.

And, since this conversation revolves around the learning organization, it
would be interesting to struggle with integrating the concept and
application of PM to the learning organization. Ideas?

Any suggestions will be appreciated and likely very useful.

Thanks.
