A new twist on motivation LO4495

Dave asks for comments on the idea below as regards motivation. It sounds
somelike the bottom art of Maslow's hierarchy to me. We must pay
attention to survival needs before we can move up the hierarchy. The
wonderful thing about self aware beings is that they can realize this
about themselves, allowing them to deal with these survival needs better
so they can move up to fulfill higher level psychological needs. Perhaps
teams aren't so different from individuals. I haven't thought about it
that much, however.
