For those who are not subscribers to the Systems Thinker newsletter, I
would like to point out an excellent article ("Charting a Corporate
Learning Strategy") which begins the latest issue (Dec,95).

Marilyn Darling (LO list member) and her co-author (unfortunately I am not
where my copy is and have forgotten his name.) write eloquently and
knowledgeably about their work with the Harvard Law Library using the
Learning Organization Inventory (based on research by Nevis, DeBella and
Gould) as a central element. The process and result are well described and
thorough enough to be very intriguing reading. I checked in with Marilyn
and she has "unsubscribed" to the list for the holidays, but would be
happy to respond to any questions. She can be emailed directly at
mdarling@warren.med.harvard.edu or by calling (617) 242-7214.

If anyone wanted to try out a sample of the Systems Thinker publication,
this would be a good one to ask about. Pegasus Communications, Inc--(617)
576-1231--is the publisher of the newsletter and they also sponsor
outstanding systems thinking conferences a couple of times a year.

It could be an excellent holiday gift to yourself....

(And I am just an enthusiatic subscriber, not financially connected to any
of the above!!)

Regards,
-----
Host's Note: I heartily second the recommendation for the Systems
Thinker. Your can also email Pegasus at pegasus@world.std.com
