Let me introduce myself. I'm a school reformer who has coordinated the
change effort of a self selected group of schools for five years. The
schools are located in six districts around the state of Colorado. I'm at
the state department of education, the liaison with a major reform effort.

I don't really want to talk much about the schools or school change right
now. Suffice it to say that school change is very difficult for very
complex reasons. It is also a long-term effort.

I am grateful for the opportunity to have done this work and expect to
continue using the knowledge I've gained. Right now I'm searching for a
new position because of expected federal cuts in educational spending.

In one of my job interviews (searching for work in this field is an
interesting job in itelf), I was asked how I would have a group build a
vision.

What would you say if someone asked you how you would lead an organization
in visioning? I wonder if there aren't all sorts of great "takes" on what
might be a rather dated question.

Thanks,
