Greetings all,

To introduce myself as a new subscriber I would like to share the
following with you. I first came into contact with the rich concepts of
the learning organisation during my economic studies at the Erasmus
University in Rotterdam. I felt then, as I do now , that commitment to
this new form of thinking and mind set can help our organisations move
into a more conscious working environment, which will eventually prove
beneficial to all. This premise led me to further research the subject and
I followed this u p by dedicating my final thesis to the matter. More
specifically, my thesis was about scenario planning as learning taking a
special interest in the ideas, skills and tools that have been developed
by Shell over the past 20 years.

My special interest at the moment is concentrated around the work that I
do for the consultancy firm I work for, namely Oasis Process Consulting in
the Netherlands. We have developed an expertise in the area of Systems
Thinking and more specifically in th e domain of System Dynamics. We
develop, design, implement and advise in the areas of Management
Simulators/Cockpits, Dynamic Process modeling, Mental Modeling, etc. At
the moment I do not have any specific questions to ask the world forum but
when they a rise I will not hesitate to put them before you.

With great interest I have been reading the mails being sent over the net
and it is encouraging to see that the facination in the area of the LO
carries a global interest.

Kind regards,
