I'd suggest getting some coaches who can work with your key change-agents
and, if possible senior management people over 3-6 months. I say that the
thing that's in the way of change occurring is whatever it is that stops
people from speaking up powerfully, caring enough to try, committing
enough to take risks etc.

In other words, they are the things that people are largely unaware of,
and have little access to changing. Coaching and training your
change-agents can make a tremendous difference, even a bigger difference
long-term than hiring a consultant. If you can hire a consultant/coach
who is skilled in causing change and is willing to train your people, use
them.

In the long term, you want to develop your company's ability to grow and
change itself, and that comes through having people who are committed
being self-generative, and unstoppable. To put it another way, if you had
ONE Ghandi in your company, it would be a different company, even if he
were a janitor. If you could coach ten people into developing themselves
to becoming corporate mini-versions of him, you would have secured an
awesome future for your company.

Good luck!

Francis
