I'm interested in hearing from anyone who is personally interested, or
knows someone who might be interested, in a position exchange between the
U.S. and Great Britain. My aim is to arrange such a "swap" in the autumn
of 1996, for a period of 10-12 weeks. I have a strong preference for
being in eastern England (Cambridge/London) since my wife is on research
leave there. I'm familiar with, and in touch with, the U.K. "Learning
Company" project. Project goal: two learning organization practitioners
exchange jobs on a temporary basis. Each would retain his/her existing
position and salary. We would take over the principal job
responsibilities of the other with major focus on organizational and staff
developing, and building the learning organization. Each would prepare a
full report to both firms. This would be an opportunity to the two of us,
and our firms, to benefit from new perspectives and access to different
skills. All enquiries/suggestions welcome.
