I have not yet done anything which I'd call successfull in this area
with large companies. I think it has been done in the way of a
founder telling the story but I've never seen it as a "report on
events as they occurred".

I think that the problem is that it can't be captured in any linear
manner. I have high hopes for hypertext but don't know of its
application yet. I expect to be able to report on that in the next
year or so.

Anything that is a long linear record or that needs to be accessed
in a linear manner is not going to make it (I predict). What is
needed is something that is amenable to patterns and is accessible
through templates of interest rather than fact, time or even meaning.
