POSTMODERN ORGANIZATION THEORY TRACK
International Academy of Business Disciplines
Rockville, MD, near Washington, D.C.
Conference: April 11-14, 1996
Doctoral Consortium: April 10th

The postmodern Track is one of the most highly attended tracks at IABD.
Several postmodern sessions are scheduled on each day of the three and
half day conference. Presenters and audience become discussants in a study
group in which one session tries to build upon the next. Please try to
attend as many postmodern sessions as possible! We have a mix of
organization and marketing professors working in postmodern theory and
teaching, presenting material on a variety of topics. Here is a short
list. Please add your own ideas and send us your idea and/or paper by
NOVEMBER 20, 1995. We need topics and session chairs.

RULES: Proposals for paper presentations, symposia, tutorials, and
workshops are invited. Authors of accepted papers/sessions must register
within two weeks after receiving their acceptance letter to ensure
inclusion in the proceedings. You must also show up and participate.
Registration by March 10, 1996 is $100; late registration is $130. Please
send check to IABD - Secretary/Treasurer, Reza Eftekharzadeh, Department
of Quantitative Analysis, School of Business, St. Johns University,
Jamaica, NY 11439. A complete copy of the program will be sent to you
upon receipt of registration fee.

PAPERS DUE BY NOVEMBER 20, 1995. Send 3 copies of 6 to 17 page paper
(includes references) to Boje or Winsor. If you have one, include a
self-addressed envelop. Include your name, phone, and address so we can
put you in the program if we accept your paper. Papers are
blind-reviewed.

PROCEEDINGS/YEARBOOK. Accepted papers must be LIMITED TO 5 PAGES IN
LENGTH (INCLUDES TABLES & REFERENCES) & be sent to the proceedings editor
by JANUARY 30, 1996.

Submit two camera-ready copies. DO NOT USE DOT MATRIX PRINTERS Include a
disk in wordperfect 5.1 or 6.1 format. KEEP TO 12 POINT FONT. List your
name, paper title and TRACK (e.g. Postmodern Org. Theory) on a separate
sheet of paper so we know where to position your paper. Type on 8.5 x 11
paper with 1" margins. Center and capitalize your title in only two lines.
Include your name and institution affiliation. Use the word "ABSTRACT"
and keep it under 150 words. Capitalize and left justify headings.
Number pages in lower right hand corner with a light pencil mark so we can
erase it. Send it in a 9 x 12 envelop to Dr. Jerry Biberman, Editor,
