Replying to LO3308 --

Fred,

I was waiting for this one. I could continue it by making up a
source but I won't. I did not have the faintest idea of a specific
earlier person who had put the idea forward. I had great confidence
that such existed. I even had enough confidence that someone would
provide it for me in the responses. Thanks for doing that.

Otherwise, I would have had to bother my wise philosopher friend to
find it for me.

Saying "Heraclitus" was a joke. One that I did not expect to remain
private. To those of you for the joke has destroyed my credibility
in future replies, I apologise but cannot promise that I won't do it
again. I do promise that I'll reveal it in due course if I do
others. And, if it helps, that there are no outstanding "McMaster
jokes" on the list.
