Replying to LO3056 --

The journal SYSTEMS RESEARCH seems not to be well known to the American
management-oriented audience. There is a "holding company" called THE
INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION FOR SYSTEMS RESEARCH, IFSR, located in Vienna,
which has as components quite a few systems societies, including societies
located in the U. S., the U. K, The Netherlands, Austria, etc., etc. The
journal SYSTEMS RESEARCH is the official journal of the IFSR. It is now in
its 12th year of publishing. It started out as a Pergamon Press journal,
was published by Thesis Publishers for 2 or 3 years, and now is a Wiley
journal, being edited by Michael Jackson, whom you mentioned. Vol. 12,
No. 1, contains articles by some of the people you mention.

I recommend that you look at all 12 editions and become a subscriber.
