These great Deming transformation stories tie in with my response to
Art re HR. Most HR seems more committed to their existing models and
theories that don't allow such change to occur than they are to
producing the results that others are producing.
As John Warfield said in an earlier posting, (paraphrased) "Do your
homework." Many of us might better spend our time finding those who
are producing extraordinary results and learning from them rather
than sticking to our existing models which we're having trouble
selling and even more trouble getting our own deep satisfaction from.
