The fifth Systems Thinking in Action Conference was held in Boston last
week, sponsored by Pegasus Communications.

The overall conference theme was "Building Org Learning Infrastructures"

Several of us were there. It was a great pleasure to meet people in
person at the conf and at an informal gathering at my home. I hope that
we can use Learning-org to extend the discussion that began at the
conference.

I suggest that people who liked or felt moved by one of the sessions or
keynote speeches post a brief summary here. Same if there was an issue or
line of thinking that particularly caught your attention.

The Keynote addresses were:

Peter Block -- Stewardship: A Governance Strategy for the Learning
Organization

Danah Zohar -- A Quantum Vision for Building the Learning Organization

Karl-Henrik Robert -- The Natural Step: A Framework for Large-scale Change

Peter Senge -- Infrastructures for Sustaining Transformational Change

And, there were three "Forums":

Arie de Geus -- Infrastructure and its Impact on Organizational Success

Sandra Seagal and David Horne -- Human Dynamics: An Infrastructure fo the
Learning Organization

William Isaacs and Danah Zohar -- Dialogue, Organizational Learning, and
the Quantum Society

All the above sessions were taped (some audio *and* video). And, many of
the conference sessions were audio taped. Tapes available from Pegasus
Communications (pegasus@world.std.com or 617-576-1231 phone). Audio tapes
are available now, videos in a month or so.
