Re John D. Smith's comments about LO's,

It might be interesting to think about LG's; i.e., learning groups (as in
small-group literature), and only after doing that think about LO's.

LG's offer more opportunities for testing, and what is learned from LG's
may be critically valuable in thinking about LO's.

And while we're at it, how about LI's; learning individuals--as an intro
into LG's, then into LO's?
