I'd like to second Rick Karash's remarks about the KJ use and silence. In
fact the use of TQ tools as taught by some organizations makes clear use
of silence during periods when a team works closely together around a
board, moving Post-It notes around until the group is silently satisfied.
Such tools include the afrementioned KJ, Net Touching, and the Ishikawa
(fishbone) diagram, to name a few.
