WESTERN CASEWRITERS ASSOCIATION
The Western Affiliate of the
North American Case Research Association
in conjunction with the
WESTERN ACADEMY OF MANAGEMENT

invites you to participate in the
WESTERN CASEWRITERS PRE-CONFERENCE
CASE WRITING WORKSHOP
NARCH 28, 1996
Banff Springs Hotel
Banff, Alberta, Canada

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: OCTOBER 6, 1995

If you have written a case that you believe holds promise for
publication in a textbook or case journal, this workshop will
give you the opportunity to hear what your peers think of your
case and to receive the benefit of their review and input. If
you have written a paper on innovative case teaching techniques,
case research, or case writing that you would like to present in
the afternoon session, please submit it for review.

Cases and papers submitted will be blind reviewed by experienced
casewriters and case teachers, with written comments returned to
the authors. Those cases selected for presentation will receive
additional review in roundtable format with the case authors
serving as the principal discussants. An experienced casewriter
will serve as the discussion facilitator.

All papers and cases submitted must be original, unpublished and
not under review for any publication. We encourage submission of
qualitative dissertation cases which hold potential for
publication as a teaching case. SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR THIS
WORKSHOP IS OCTOBER 6, 1995. PLEASE CONTACT THE PROGRAM CHAIR
FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.

Style should be consistent with the following guidelines set
forth by the North American Case Research Association:
