I would not call military officers leaders, I would call them commanders.
That's what they are! I think. They are in COMMAND of mostly young
people, with a few weeks of training, and they are to some extend obligated
to accept the commands from an officer, any officer! A leader also allows
people to question, to use their inquiring minds, to generate new ways,
etc. This doesn't really happen in the military. There one obeys...
