No can do "thhings" for the customers today, without doing "something" for
the members of the organization as well. And can say that this applies to
dusiness organizations, to universitities, government, etc.
Improvements,, innovations, and inventions do not just come from a
priviledge small group of "organziational brains." There are many more
brains that need to be used to help the organization stay ahead of the
competition, by "covenrting the unknown into what is useful." I think
that several authors have used the expression "learning before your
comeptitors do," and I use it a lot too. IBM is promising to update its
OS/2 system to get ahead of Windows 95, but only after Microsoft put its
new system in the market. We can safely say that more profits from
operating environments will go to Microsoft than to IBM.
