Replying to LO2562 --

John Warfield describes the use of magnetic question marks.

Sounds fascinating, John. All I have become use to is the "scrubbing"
technique during the KJ (affinity diagram technique). Scrubbing Post-It
note contributions on the wall means getting these notes clear for all
participants to understand by following a set of semantic principles
eunmerated beforehand.

I'd be interested in trying a question mark routine as a hybrid step. My
judgement based upon inference is that the question mark in the KJ might
be extraneous, or perhaps unnecessary by the nature of the team
preparation leading up to the KJ exercise.

Thanks for your thought. Are the magnetized pieces home grown? store
bought like children's plastic alphabet letters?
