I use "belief systems", the label, as a shortcut. Otherwise, I would need
to specify each value, practice, etc. when communicating with others. As
much as I'd like to present evaluations of others beliefs from their
perspective, it just isn't the case. Those evaluations usually arise from
and are filtered through my belief systems. It's easy to forget this since
belief systems are intangible.
