I found an organization supposedly formed in 1953 that is called the
"World Government." It was started by someone that renounced their
American citizenshipand declared themselves a "World Citizen." Supposedly,
it provides passports and citizenship identity papers, etc.

Maybe becoming "world citizens" could be a first step towards a global
strategy. I mean this in the greatest respect. This takes courage. I value
my Canadian citizenship very highly. I like being a Canadian. I've done a
lot of crazy things in the past 2 years, but becoming a (possible)
stateless person is scary. It's possible because I'm still in the process
of checking this organization out.

This organization has a web page up. I could post a reference to this page
if anyone's interested. Meanwhile, I'd appreciate it if anyone could
privately email me for tips on how to check this organization out. I figure
asking the embassy's on the Internet would be a start.
