Hi! I've been reading this list now for a few weeks and thought it was
time to take the plunge and ask some questions. (I hope I'm doing all the
right things to get this message sent).

I'm very new to Learning Organisations, only having discovered the term a
few months ago. I am a Project Manager with the task of developing and
implementing an Education Management Program. In researching how I would
go about this I came across some information on Learning Organisations. I
have now read "The Fifth Discipline" (and have started circulating it
through the company), and have dipped in to the fieldbook. I see the
implementation of any education program as being almost dependent upon
significant cultural change and would like to attempt this using learning
organisation principles.

On the education program side of things, the first deliverable I have set
is a group of Competency Profiles for our primary business functions. I
wondered if there were any methodologies for performing this sort of task,
as I'm not sure where to start.

On the cultural change side of the coin, I am interested in using a
facilitator to work with project teams using the Team Learning principles
as outlined in the Fifth Discipline Fieldbook. As I am located near
Sydney, Australia, I wondered if anyone knew of someone in that vacinity
who may do this sort of thing.

I have enjoyed having this new world open before me and look forward to
learning heaps more!!

Thanks
