Gosh, I'm going to try to "verbalize." :-)
My experience/feeling/perception/cognition is that this world and
my place in it are ultimately illusory. Ego develops when grasping at
momentary sensations of cohesiveness and attempting to create continuity.
Meaning? Well, maybe there is one. If not, that's okay too. For me
there is this incredible contentedness with viscerally and spiritually
experiencing an immersion/connectedness in the "dance" of the creation and
destruction of form. At one with the universe, to coin a phrase. But the
"me" that has to work for a living, has no meaning in this context. It
just doesn't matter.
Boy, what I wouldn't give for total bookstore immersion. A public
library.... I've heard of _Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience_by
Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. I'm putting it on my book wish list. Yet, it's
one of those books that you've just got to read in your own language.
Books get very luxurious when I've got to pay several times the price to
read them!
