Tobin, we appear very in synch. The problem that I am attacking when I go
after the term "motivation" is that it is a term with the psychological
base that I mentioned. I don't want to use it - unless I mean that type
of phenomenon - any more than I'd use the term for the growth of a plant.
The plant is not "motivated" - it just responds to the environment and its
own nature in interaction.
Self-motivation then becomes (just) "being" - and I think loses all
meaning in relation to the term motivation.
