In all this talk about competitive advantage, I'm surprised that nobody
has mentioned the grow or die imperative that is built into the capitalist
system. Sustaining principles becomes increasingly difficult, as is
visible in Ben & Jerry's and I suspect may also be true of Tom's of Maine,
as companies expand.
