The 1996 University of North Texas Symposium on Work Teams

TEAM DEVELOPMENT

Call for Papers

The fourth annual UNT Symposium on Work Teams will focus on the broad
topic of team development. Papers are invited for review on such
topics as team development across time; stage or nonstage theories of
team development; the relationships among such topics as empowerment,
maturity, responsibility, authority, autonomy, and development;
influences on development, such as leadership, culture,
implementation, design, and reward systems; differences in patterns
of development across different types of work, teams, and
organizations.

The papers should be conceptual in nature, such as theory work.
Empirical information may be used to illustrate the theoretical
concepts and relationships, but not as the central focus of the work.
Papers must be received by February 1, 1996. Reviews will be
completed and feedback sent to authors in April. Selected papers
will be presented at the symposium at the beginning of June.
Symposium papers will be screened for inclusion in volume 4 of the
JAI Press series: Advances in Interdisciplinary Studies of Work
Teams.

Use APA 4th edition format. Papers should range between 25 and 50
double spaced pages. Send four copies and an IMB compatible disk to:
